About ENK Calculator

ENK Calculator is an independent website providing free calculators and guides for sole proprietorships (enkeltpersonforetak, or ENK) in Norway.

We were created to make it easier for freelancers, consultants and self-employed people to understand tax, VAT, deductions and pricing. Norwegian tax rules can be difficult to navigate, and official resources are often technically written and spread across multiple websites.

Our mission

To gather practical information about Norwegian sole proprietorships in one place, with clear explanations, accurate numbers and up-to-date rates from the Norwegian Tax Administration (Skatteetaten) and Altinn.
